My name is Cameron, and I’m a freelance business writer. In addition to writing, I’m a husband and aspiring science nerd. I love to embrace new challenges and enjoy learning about new things. I am God-fearing, but I also believe that I have full autonomy in dictating how successful I am in this life and that everyone has a choice to change their life for the better regardless of what position they’re in.
I truly believe that success isn’t ascertained by what you achieve and gain, but more so by how you live your life amongst others. By giving back to the world by what we create and having a huge impact on the world.
If I’m fortunate enough to get spare time throughout my days let alone weeks, I make it a priority to do the things I love which include playing soccer (it’s really called football, argue with a wall if you disagree!) with friends, spending time with my wife and family, going to the gym and reading.
But I’d be lying to you if I didn’t tell you how nothing makes me feel more alive when I sit down and just dream. I love to dream, because it constantly fuels my ambition to strive for more.
Imagine what the world would be like if the most iconic people in history never dreamed? It certainly wouldn’t be the kind of ideal reality that I had in mind. But all of this was possible because they dreamed.
But keep in mind, of course yes the greater creations that we have in this world today all started off with an idea and a dream in mind, but it’s also important to acknowledge that these successful creators were also doers.
I like to think of myself as a doer not just when it comes to putting my own ideas and thoughts into action to create something awesome, but to also assist other like-minded driven people into bringing their awesome creations to life for the world to benefit from.
You see where I’m going with this?
I have an addiction to wanting to learn and expand more just because of this “doer” attitude where I have an itch to want to learn something new that I didn’t know yesterday and use it to make life even better for myself today.
My father always had this saying “give a man a fish, they eat for a day. But teach a man to fish, and they’ll eat for a lifetime”. That saying resonates with me to this day because it highlights the notion that knowledge is power and without it, we wouldn’t have achieved anything in today’s time.
With that being said, I’ve come to realize that many of us dream. But not all of us have the knowledge to put those dreams into action and become “doers” who execute on those dreams and manifest them into a reality.
I realized that the greatest gift that I could ever give back to the world is the knowledge that I continue to acquire through my passion for learning and helping steer others in the right direction to achieve success for themselves. I think the greatest gift one could receive in life is Joy, and I find Joy in helping contribute to other people’s dreams and making them a reality.
